Song For The Mute

– when the words ‘Avant Garde’ don’t cut it.

Having just sampled the latest collection with ‘Song for the Mute’ and being in the middle of production of the current collection we thought we should do a post. Especially as it’s about as real as screen printing can be – all hand – all waterbased inks on garments ranging in price from $300 – $3000 and sold across the world from H.Lorenzo on Rodeo Drive in L.A. to Lane Crawford in Bejing. The stockists are a who’s who of retail fashion trend bastions of style and the celebrities that wear the clothes – pay to wear them.

Having worked now with Lena, Melvin and crew now on their third collection involving print we are very thankful to work with such consumate

artists at the top of their game.

Melvin invariably walks in with coffee and pastry from somewhere fantastic and we spend copious hours with them sampling every collection across 20 – 30 fabrics so we get very familiar, invariably waking up again when you see them for the second or third time in articles about items of distinction along side Range Rovers in the Financial Review.

An outstanding outward seeking Australian brand – in every way. Provocative textures and outstanding vision In the pursuit of the extraordinary.
