Rouse Phillips Print Studio is the textile design company of Tim Rouse and Anastasia Phillips.

Two people from very different design disciplines – Tim, Painting and Graphic Design; and Anastasia, screen-printing and fashion. The two combine their backgrounds to create playful and artistically driven designs for fashion and upholstery fabrics. Their original designs can be used in both the screen and digital print process.

Tim studied Visual Communications at the University Technology Sydney, graduating in 2003 before meeting Anastasia in 2007. He has worked since 1999 in creative environments such as graphic design, animation and painting – in which has had a number of exhibitions and private commissions.

Anastasia studied fine arts at the College of Fine Arts Sydney majoring in screen-printing. With a focus on bold graphics and colour she has always leaned towards a career in graphic arts, with an interest in re-instating the use of original and inspiring prints in fashion and upholstery. Anastasia has worked in interior design, textiles and as a colourist for a number of paint and printing studios.

After meeting in 2007 they both realized a shortage of choice in original textiles in Australia. Seeing a gap in the market for more artistic and creative designs they set up Rouse Phillips Print Studio in 2009. Moving between Asia, India and New York whilst creating individual designs fuelled by artistic creativity rather than fashion trends alone allows Rouse Phillips to be a flexible and original design studio.

A key element to Rouse Phillips success is the real ability to build your repeat patterns and colour separations for screenprint.
