An average day at Screenhaus… what is an average day at Screenhaus? This was today – ish. I have a policy as a Communications Designer formed by working in many mixed creative fields and with many different people – I’ve written alot of copy and taken alot of photos and built alot of collateral from movie posters to sales pages on websites etc etc but my policy is the truth. And the truth is – the photos taken today – are the photos taken today … sometimes business is eventful (to put it mildly) and you are trying to push the limits of what you do and get noticed for it by the right people but I still cannot do that by telling tall tales. So these are some photos I took in the last 20 minutes of our working day here. Really … there were more …. but this will do.
Screenhaus are now the only textile printer in Australia with both screen print tables and digital yardage capabilities … this is impressive enough but it never fails to impress me that people still have projects we’ve never seen and graphic ideas that impress me no end. Especially from a resilience point of view of small businesses starting up all the time. 2016 was always going to be a year of brands for us and that means your brands. The big challenges right now are outdoor fabrics and pigment power in the sun (Especially reds) although there is also (new for me) trying to find suitable fabrics for digital printing as well as mastering a new machine.
Anyway, a few shots from this afternoon …. I hope you love them.

At the time we were doing alot of testing around Permaset Inks and we printed on alot of different fabric styles including metallics and flouro inks and put them on the roof for 6 months. I always said the Permaset pigments were incredible.
